Grasshopper 		  Seen in the centre of Monchique, I'm not sure whether this is a Grasshopper or a Cricket. Whatever it was it was a monster.
 

Wild flowers 		  Wild flowers in a small valley south of Monchique.
 

Alvor 		  The small fishing harbour in Alvor.
 

Lifeboat house 		  The old lifeboat house in Alvor. I'm looking in the window at the restored lifeboat and you can see the rails its trolley ran down to reach the sea. The strange thing is the tourists didn't seem to take any interest in it.
